Hello everyone, the time is now and we are READY to embark on this journey to changing our overall lifestyle. We have been doing good things, but now its time to do great things. I'm so excited about this BODY CAMP with T and CHAN. I took the time to think about how we can change the lives of others through fitness, meal planning and inspiring them to believe in themselves. I will hopefully answer a few questions you may have about BODY CAMP with T and CHAN.
1. What's the COST? Everyone wants to know the financial obligations for the class. It's $49 for the BODY CAMP. Plex members who have not paid additional fee for EXTREME FITNESS CLASS $29. Extreme Fitness Class members get the T and CHAN discount. See us for details.
2. Where Do I Pay? You can pay at PLEX FITNESS on Meriweather ST. You will have to fill out the registration form and sign waiver. You can pay with cash, check, money order or debit/credit card. WE WILL NOT MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMNTS, its a one time fee that must be paid before the first day of CAMP.
3. DO I have to JOIN THE PLEX? You do not have to join the PLEX to attend the BODY CAMP. However, you will not have access to the weight room, cardio equipment, other classes, etc. you will only be able to use the locker rooms and training areas designated for the BODY CAMP.
3. What time are the classes? Morning class starts at 6am on TUESDAY and Thursday. Classes are approximately 60 minutes, some classes may run over.
Evening class will start at 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday classes will start at 9am.
If you are advanced, I'm contemplating allowing you to attend my EXTREME FITNESS CLASS. TBD
4. WHAT types of exercises will we be doing in the BODY CAMP?
Cardio Kick and Dance Zumba Boxing/Kickboxing on heavy bags Squats Lunges
Linear Running Multi-directional running Speed/agility Drills CORE STRENGTHENING
Push ups TRICEP DIPS BICEP CURLS Military Press Bench Press Plyometrics
Isometrics LOW CRAWLS TIRE RUNS Sledgehammer ROPE CLIMB
TUG OF WAR Wind Sprints 1 mile run Jumping Jacks Dumbells
resistance training Muscle confusion Bent over rows
5. Do I have to be in shape already? No we will work with all fitness levels.
6. Will there be a MEAL PLAN? Yes we will have a meal plan and educate you on reading labels and what are healthy alternatives.
7. What do I need to bring? Camp FEE, Your body, appropriate sneakers (cross trainers are great for this type of training) a great attitude about change, mat, towel, boxing gloves if you want to hit heavy bags on designated days.
8. Will you give campers ideas to do at home? Yes you will have homework fitness assignments
9. What can I expect the first day? Pre-fitness Test to determine your fitness level and what group you will be placed in.
10. Who are the instructors? Tarrant "T" and Chan
11. BONUS QUESTION? If you want to see a class or feel like you want to get started a little bit early, stop by the Plex and sit in on a Class with T. Monday - Thursday at 5:45 pm. or Satruday at 9am. Chan has ZUMBA and Body Sculpting Classes during evenings to, there is a posted schedule. WE would love to meet you before the BODY CAMP. If you sign up early, CHAN and I are usually there at 4:30 to prepare for our classes. All the church folks sing it all the time, COME RIGHT ON, RIGHT ON IN.
So now that we have answered the majority of the questions, what are you waiting on to get this thing started. I can promise you that you will get the workout of your life in this camp, we are going to get you on the path to change. How far you go will be up to you and the effort that you put in. I can promise you that you will be encouraged, well change that, pushed and if you are determined and consistent you will experience changes in your body, mind and meal plan. Nice updated page! Ready for Body Camp and meal plan! No matter what size, we all could eat better to prevent health issues later in life. Thanks T and Chan for all your hard work planning. We appreciate it!
